COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES DIRECTOR

Ludington area (Scottville) not for profit organization seeking qualified individual to manage programs and services for a 4 county area. Qualifications: Minimum AA or 2 yrs work related experience. Leadership/supervisory skills; multi-task; communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills; computer proficiency (responsible for data based reporting system); ability to prepare reports accurately and timely; positively interact with clients, community and other agencies. Occasional travel and evening meetings. Starting salary $31,000 with benefits.

 

EARLY HEAD START COORDINATOR

Ludington area (Scottville) not for profit  organization seeking Program Coordinator responsible for supervision/management of home based family focused child dev. program serving pregnant women and infants/toddlers. Min. Qual.: BA in early childhood dev. or social work; 2 yrs exp. in relevant work w/multi problem families (Infant Mental Health); 2 yrs supervisory exp.; excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills. Grant writing and training experience preferred. Must relocate if not resident of service area. Salary 30's w/benefits.

HEAD START CENTER DIRECTOR
Seeking result-oriented individual who enjoys a challenge & variety of job activities. Do you pride yourself on the ability to analyze programs as well as interact well with people?
Good leader/planner for Head Start child development center management. Assertive yet people friendly even in difficult situations; supervise staff; teach classroom of children 3-5 yrs of age; interact well with parents. Must meet State Licensing Rqmts: BA in Early Childhood Dev. or Early Elem. Ed. w/ZA or CDA endorsement. Min. 1 year mgmt exp.; excellent communication & organizational skills. Some travel required; able to lift up to 60 lbs; pass physical and TB test. No citations for child abuse/neglect. Starting salary $29,307 - 30,553 pending qual.; benefits.

LEAD TEACHER - FULL TIME: Head Start teacher responsible for managing classroom of children 3-5 years of age, creating good learning environment to promote growth and learning consistent with Head Start Performance Standards and Day Care Licensing. Qual: AA or BA req’d in Early Childhood Dev. or Early Elem. Ed.; experience teaching preschool children. Starting salary $23,275 - 24,523 with benefits.

ASSISTANT TEACHER - PART-TIME; 26 hrs/wk. Responsibilities vary from creating a good learning environment to promote growth and learning for 3-5 year olds (consistent with the Head Start Performance Standards, Day Care Licensing), to working as part of the teaching team and supporting these activities. We’re looking for someone who enjoys responsibility and wants to be part of a team where their effort is appreciated with a willingness to follow directions. $8.79/hr.

KITCHEN AIDE / FLOATER - PART-TIME; 26 hrs/wk. Seeking reliable individual that can communicate effectively, accept supervision and positively interact with preschool age children and co-workers. $8.79/hr.

BUS DRIVER - PART-TIME; 20-25 hrs/wk. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Able to meet state laws and endorsements required to operate school buses: Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with P & S Endorsement required. Must have good driving record, be drug free, dependable, have a pleasant personality, and interact well with preschool age children. $12.37/hr.

 

Employment subject to passing job-related physical exam and TB test. No citations for child abuse/neglect. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. Criminal background check. 

Must relocate if not resident within 30 miles of Center/Office location.
