COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES DIRECTOR - Ludington area not for profit organization seeking qualified individual to manage programs and services for a 4 county area. Qualifications: Minimum AA or 2 yrs work related experience. Leadership/supervisory skills; multi-task; communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills; computer proficiency (responsible for data based reporting system); ability to prepare reports accurately and timely; positively interact with clients, community and other agencies. Occasional travel and evening meetings. Starting salary $31,000 with benefits.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES WORKER - Manistee: Full-time opening coordinating services for low-income residents and seniors of Lake County. Responsible for outreach office operations, maintenance of data entry system and client records, confidentiality, volunteer recruitment and community relations. Qualifications include: 1 yr of college or equivalent experience in the Human Services field; ability to supervise; written/verbal communication skills, excellent people skills; computer experience; knowledge of community resources; and willingness to travel and attend meetings. Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Salary $25,300 w/benefits.
FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES WORKER - Full-time, full-year. Seeking energetic, detail oriented individual with good interpersonal and organization skills; responsible for completing intake paperwork, participating in home visits, and assuring program collaboration and resource delivery to Early Head Start (infants/toddlers, pregnant women) families in Mason/Manistee counties. Min. 1 yr exp. in related field; or AA or BA in Human Service, Child Development, or Education. $10.92/hr. Valid MI drivers license; willing to travel within service area.

CENTER DIRECTOR: OPENING AT Fountain Child Development Center - Seeking good leader/planner to manage and teach in child development center. Assertive yet people friendly even in difficult situations; supervise staff; willing & able to teach classroom of 3-5 year olds. Must meet State Licensing Requirements. Qualifications: CDA plus 12 credit hours in early childhood education; or AA, BA, or advanced degree in early childhood education; or a degree in a field related to early childhood education with experience in teaching preschool children. Minimum 2 semester hours in Child Care Administration from an accredited college or university; or a min. of 3 CEU's in Child Care Administration. 1 year of managerial experience to include supervisory responsibilities. Training and/or experience in social or human or family services. No citations for child abuse/neglect. Starting salary $33,030 with benefits.
LEAD TEACHER: OPENINGS AT Ludington, Baldwin, Grant and Hesperia centers - FULL TIME: Head Start teacher responsible for managing classroom of children 3-5 years of age, creating good learning environment to promote growth and learning consistent with Head Start Performance Standards and Day Care Licensing. ASSISTANT TEACHER:
OPENINGS AT Ludington, Grant and Baldwin centers -
PART-TIME; 26 hrs/wk.
Responsibilities vary from creating a good learning environment to promote
growth and learning for 3-5 year olds (consistent with the Head Start
Performance Standards, Day Care Licensing), to working as part of the teaching
team and supporting these activities. We’re looking for someone who enjoys
responsibility and wants to be part of a team where their effort is appreciated
with a willingness to follow directions. $9.73/hr.
KITCHEN AIDE / FLOATER:
OPENING AT Ludington center -
PART-TIME; 26
hrs/wk. Seeking reliable individual that can communicate effectively, accept
supervision and positively interact with preschool age children and co-workers.
$9.73/hr.
BUS DRIVER:
OPENINGS AT Fountain and Hesperia centers -
PART-TIME; 20-25 hrs/wk. Must have a
high school diploma or GED. Able to meet state laws and endorsements required
to operate school buses: Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with P & S Endorsement
required. Must have good driving record, be drug free, dependable, have a
pleasant personality, and interact well with preschool age children. $13.68/hr.

physical exam and TB test. No citations for child abuse/neglect. Able to lift
up to 60 lbs. Criminal background check.
Must relocate if not resident within 30
miles of Center/Office location.
