EARLY HEAD START COORDINATOR - Ludington area: Seeking Program Coordinator responsible for supervision/management of home based family focused child dev. program serving pregnant women and infants/toddlers. Min. Qual.: BA in early childhood dev. or social work; 2 yrs exp. in relevant work w/multi problem families (Infant Mental Health); 2 yrs supervisory exp.; excellent organization and written/verbal communication skills. Grant writing and training experience preferred. Starting salary $34,000 w/benefits.

ASSISTANT PARENT & LITERACY COORDINATOR - Ludington area: Seeking career oriented individual responsible for assisting with literacy program coordination, assuring parent involvement and volunteer program efforts, implementing HEAD START objectives, evaluation and planning. Skills Required: Understanding of Early Childhood Dev. Ability to supervise, excellent verbal/written communication skills, organization and problem solving. Computer exp. helpful. Qualifications: BA in Early Childhood Educ OR AA in Early Childhood Educ with 3 years experience. No citations for child abuse or neglect. Starting salary $27,000 w/benefits.

FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES WORKER - Based out of White Cloud and Baldwin offices: Full-time, full-year. Seeking energetic, detail oriented individual with good interpersonal and organization skills; responsible for completing intake paperwork, participating in home visits, and assuring program collaboration and resource delivery to Early Head Start (infants/toddlers, pregnant women) families in Lake/Newaygo counties. Min. 1 yr exp. in related field; or AA or BA in Human Service, Child Development, or Education. $11.12/hr. Valid MI drivers license; willing to travel within service area.

ASSISTANT FISCAL OFFICER - Ludington area: Seeking ambitious, multi task, organized person to assist Chief Fiscal Officer with all aspects of accounting and reporting for non profit organization. Qual.: B.A. in Accounting or equivalent. Full charge bookkeeping and computer skills; leadership/supervisory skills. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Non Profit and/or Fund Accounting. Must be willing to relocate if not living within 30 miles. Salary $30-36,000 based on exp.; health benefit package.

FiveCAP, Inc. operates eight (8) Head Start Centers in the four counties of Mason, Manistee, Newaygo and Lake.  FiveCAP Head Start is a center-based program serving 3-5 year old children Mon-Thurs, September-May. Center Staff work August (orientation/start up/recruitment) thru end May/early June (closing/inventory/cleaning).

ASSISTANT TEACHER.....openings: Grant: PART-TIME; 26 hrs/wk. Responsibilities vary from creating a good learning environment to promote growth and learning for 3-5 year olds (consistent with the Head Start Performance Standards, Day Care Licensing), to working as part of the teaching team and supporting these activities. We’re looking for someone who enjoys responsibility and wants to be part of a team where their effort is appreciated with a willingness to follow directions. BILINGUAL (English/Spanish) preferred for Grant location. $9.73/hr.

KITCHEN AIDE / FLOATER.....openings: None:  PART-TIME; 26 hrs/wk. Seeking reliable individual that can communicate effectively, accept supervision and positively interact with preschool age children and co-workers. $9.73/hr.

BUS DRIVER.......openings: Hesperia Area, Kaleva:  PART-TIME; 20-25 hrs/wk. Must have a high school diploma or GED. Able to meet state laws and endorsements required to operate school buses: Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with P & S Endorsement required. Must have good driving record, be drug free, dependable, have a pleasant personality, and interact well with preschool age children. $13.68/hr.

Employment subject to passing job-related physical exam and TB test. No citations for child abuse/neglect. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. Criminal background check. 

Must relocate if not resident within 30 miles of Center/Office location.
