FiveCAP, Inc. oversees several programs that provide emergency assistance to low income families. These programs provide assistance with rent, electric, heat, water and cooking gas. Minimum
requirements to qualify for this type of assistance are:

Programs That We Provide are as follows: FEMA: Federal Emergency Management Agency Assistance – this program assists with one month’s rent or mortgage in addition to gas, electric, heat, water and sewer costs.
SEF:
State Emergency Funds - assistance available under this program
includes first month’s rent, rent arrearages, mortgage payment, rental
security deposit, property taxes, mobile home rent, insurance for home,
emergency repairs, heat, electric, water, cooking gas, deposit for connection,
reconnect hook-ups and emergency household items.

for Warmth:
Funds available through this program can be used to assist low-income families
with water, heat or electric bills.
CSBG:
Community Services Block Grant - funds are available to assist with utility
services, household contents and medications.
Vehicle repair and purchase if you are working or attending school full
time.
