MASON & MANISTEE COUNTIES: 
DISTRIBUTION OF TOYS AND GIFTS TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS SO THAT EVERY CHILD HAS A GIFT UNDER THEIR TREE FOR CHRISTMAS MORNING. ​

FiveCAP partners with Synergy Media Inc., owner of a number of local radio stations, to help make Christmas merrier for hundreds of local families in Mason and Manistee counties that are struggling financially this holiday season. 

New unwrapped toy donations for boys and girls ages 0-18 may be dropped off at the FiveCAP offices in Scottville and Manistee (by appointment, call phone number below). Or look for decorated barrels (list of locations at bottom of this page) and canisters placed at local businesses and organizations starting the first week of November. Santa's elves pick up the barrels to organize the toys for Santa and shop for toys to make sure there are plenty of toys/gifts for parents to choose from during the two day distribution.  

Monetary donations are accepted year-round and are used to purchase toys and gifts closer to the distribution dates just before Christmas allowing us to ensure there are enough items for each age group.

​Parents MUST apply in advance (beginning Nov. 1st) at the FiveCAP County Office in Scottville (Mason County) or Manistee (Manistee County). Parent must show valid driver's license and provide social security numbers for all members of household. Parents will receive their date and time for picking out toys/gifts for their child(ren), a family game and stocking stuffers, with the assistance of a personal shopper. COVID protocols, social distancing and masks required.
